New book - at least new to me

Last week, we decided to order some guitar books for Anna as part of her birthday gift. Brian went to Amazon and loaded them into the cart. After the total was calculated, I saw that we needed to order something else to qualify for free super saver shipping, so I started searching for an interesting book. I have an Amazon Kindle, so it didn't make sense for me to order just any sort of book - I wanted to order something that I would really want to hold in my hands. I happened upon the above book. After reading the rave reviews, and checking out the inside of the book, I decided this is the book I wanted to order. I added it to the cart and checked out. The book was delivered today, and I have read the prologue and introduction. I am so glad that I ordered the physical book instead of loading it onto my Kindle. I have already done some underlining and margin-noting. I think it is going to be a book that I will go to again and again. I can't wait to delve deeper into the meat of the text. I will update you all when I have finished the book to let you know what I think.

Quote of the day: "The happiest people are those who think the most interesting thoughts. Those who decide to use leisure as a means of mental development, who love good music, good books, good pictures, good company, good conversation, are the happiest people in the world. And they are not only happy in themselves, they are the cause of happiness in others." -William Lyon Phelps

I hope, not only that you have happiness, but that you will be the cause of happiness in others - at least today!
