Good Friday morning to you! I have been wanting to take dance lessons with Brian for years, but we never seemed to find the time to do it. Well, lucky for us, our good friend Tasha bought us lessons for our birthdays this year. Not only did she purchase and sign us up for the lessons, she also offered herself up to be our babysitter on dance night. We no longer had a reason not to do it. Last night was our very first Shag lesson - you know the beach dance of the Carolina's? We were very surprised by the number of people who were there to learn how to Shag. We thought we would be one in maybe 5 couples, but there were around 50 people there! We had so much fun. We learned only the basic Shag step.......one and two and three and four five six. For those of you who Shag, you know what I am talking about. We will certainly be practicing all week, so when it comes to building onto the basic we will feel comfortable (we have 5 more lessons). I highly recommend trying something new with someone you are close to - a spouse or good friend - you won't be disappointed.
Quote of the day: "Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." = Unknown
