Sean Mullen's 40 in 40

This past Saturday, I attended a 39th birthday party for Sean Mullen. He has set a wonderful goal for himself to accomplish in his 40th year of life (from 39-40). His goal is to earn $40,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, while participating in 40 athletic events, such as races and triathlons. You can find out all about it, and donate money to his cause at Sean's 40 in 40. He is also keeping a blog about his year-long adventure. His blog also lists local races, which I think is great if you want to get in on a race here or there! Go Sean!

As you probably figured out, the card shown here is the card I made for Sean's birthday! I found some "manly" patterned paper from my Stampin Up stash, and pulled out other paper to match it, as well as stamp colors, and I set to work! I really love the finished product, and I'm sure Sean does too! Happy birthday Sean!

Sally - thank you for the shout out on your site and for the manly card. When we got home on Saturday and opened it, Sheila and I both went "Sally" as we knew only a card as special as that could have come from you. Thanks so much - hope to see you, Brian and the girls soon.
